Ultraflex Braid...

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Ultraflex Braid...

#1 Post by petekd »

Loads of it on Ebay at silly prices. As ever, you get what you pay for.... Its a complete pile of cack. I ordered a spool of the 50lb, its the kind of stuff you tie up bales hay with......complete tat. 50lb spiderwire is at most 1/3 of the diameter of this stuff, its a big pile of poo!

Good man Pete, objective as ever! :P

Will avoid like the plague from the sounds of it......
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

Ah, got plenty of braid, just trying it out as it was v cheap. Kind of fancy trying braid on a multi and with the onset I'm sure of inevitable birdies initially I didnt want to be using Powerpro or Spiderwire.

Well I'm waiting for my 20lb power pro to arrive. It should do the job with that (continentalish) shimano speedmaster rod I got..
