ZZiplex Genesis

Hi everyone ,i'm new here , have a question for all the expert here , recently just brought an used Zziplex Genesis , is this rod same with Tz500 ? and anybody have the specs of this rod ? :roll:

Hi Ikan,welcome to the forum.If you type zziplex into the search above you might get some answers and if you still can't find your answerI'm sure some of the experts will be on to help you out :lol: ,good luck.

Unless this is a new model of Zziplex, I am not sure it exists, definately never heard of one.

Try contacting Terry Carroll of Zziplex:-

It an old model of zziplex , i think from around 10 years ago ....

as far as i can remeber the Zziplex Genesis is a very old rod me thinks it was around with the original amorphus not even the awt and before the 2500 and bullets came out hope this helps a bit lol but i could be wrong to but it does ring a bell

as a blank they were a ZF250 and as a factory built rod they were the Genesis,there the same rod, hope this helps.

The ZF - Zziplex Fising - has been discontinued for some years. However, it was a through action rod with a fairly stiff tip. Nice for slow and easy low reel style

found this on it hope it helps a bit

spoke to Terry today.

he made 4 of the Genesis model in 1995.

1 was given to Neil Mackellow to use in the world champs ( he won i think)

the rest were sold.

he says they were the fore runner to the primo range.

comes with a powertex butt

hope this helps.
