Dare I show my face round that neck of the woods again..... :D Put me down for it John, I would be somewhat concerned about just how likely it would be for us to get out to the reefs though in the middle of november and what plan B would be?
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial

All we can do is provisionally book it. If we get out offshore fishing is meant to be excellent that time of year- and Luke has a big stable boat.
Plan B would be inside the estary, anchored up perhaps..

Take me with you
I have forecast a day of sunshine and light winds for the weekend of the 18th , and really want to go!!!!!
Take me with you!
This skipper knows some great offshore reefs, and I have a handheld GPS in my pocket
I'll even make the tea

Next year is right Pete's, dreaming of it already.
I did manage to sneak out of a work trip in the US to a fishing store in Pennsylvania to grab a new Penn boat reel and loaded it with 20 lb braid as well as grabbing three nice bass minnow baits and after conversion came in under 80 Euro. I won't need to borrow Sean's mudda fu**a shark reel now, or look for repairs on Kilmore Quay ( a bit like Leslie) ahem.
While I was in the states the hotel town car driver informed he was going up to Cabellos who apparently have a massive store in PA but unfortunately I had to do the "kissing babies and shaking hands meet and greet work Sh**te" that evening.
To rub it in even worse the guys in work then asked me to join them for a striped bass boat outing on the Friday off the Jersey shore but unfortunately I had to fly home that day.
Next time I'm there though ......................
Donal.
