Just went to buy some things from a website. The cost of postage was over 50% extra onto the price. The gross weight was 1.15lbs and the postage was over E20. Is this normal from Scotland to Ireland.

yip postage is a bit slow at the minute ordered a dvd from Amazon still haven't got it it left the supplier last tuesday..As for EBAY? buyers beware I have had this problem before especially when you are making quick bids ,the seller will advertise postage to UK as £10 and even when you click on the postage link it says UK but when you read there small print N.Ireland is always dearer say £25 because it is not mainland UK. I have complained to ebay and they have said if an advert is misleading in any way then you can ask the seller to retract So if you think you are being done then complain, to be fair to sellers its post and PACKAGING so they have to pay for packing the item. The normal price I expect to pay is £10 for N.Ireland up to about 10kilos any thing above this is a rip off..Lazy

On E Bay always check the sellers feedback and profile, if you think you are being messed about complain and be sure to leave a negative feedback.

More to do with ebay this post but i only deal with 2 dealers now. They both are next day delivery and if you phone he even cheaper has own tackle shop so has everything or can get it.

Top of list.

second

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/D-W-RIGS-TACKLE

Southend angling is very good got 15 pound of ebay price for a rod a mate wanted when i phoned. But he always been next day delivery he uses a good company no royal mail rubbish. If ordering tell him spanbear put you on to him as do me no harm next time i order. cheers
