Tide:l.w.@9

Weather:calm/heavy surf

Bait:lugs,razor,berkley ragworm

Rigs:2 up pats/1up1down running ledgers

Results:coalies,coddling,flounder

Catch and Release:: Yes/



Report:met up with at conor at the hotel for a session.set up 2 beachcasters with a variaty of baits and hook sizes.after hour and half with only 1 coalie to show for our effords.i showed conor how to fish the "cortaz method" with his spinnin rod and half oz of lead, first cast he had a coddling 2th. cast a nice coalie. 8) got my own light rod set up and
soon had a coddling followed by a nice flounder, with a few more coalies between us in the next half hour all fish falling to lug and when that ran out decied to head home.
would have expected a bass or 2 to show over l.w. but still had a pleasent enough evenin.s fishin

How did the Berkely rag perform? Curious as I had some small success with this legering for Wrasse a few weeks ago. Then again, they were hitting everything that time. I know it can pick up Pollack off the boat when spun but wondering if you got anything with it on the beach?
