does the snood length really matter ??? its just all the rigs ive tyed have 1 foot snoods?? AND EVEN LONGER :shock:
ah no the longer the better afaik but in a big surf they just get wrapped around the main line I have found and catch weed so for that sort of thing I thought going shorter is less hassel also maybe there would be less drag on the line and shorter snoods = easier hookup.
now I will point out that I have only caught 3 bass this year and 2 of them were spinning the other on a three hook flapper.

Shorter snoods if the surf is running or there is weed about.
