People:me, fishingmidget and one other

Duration:4:30 - 23:00

Tide:high at 19:14

Weather:southeasterly wind, perfect surf for flatties

Bait: lug mackerel

Rigs: one up one down and 3 hook flapper(dunno what midget was using)

Results: 8 flounder, 2 plaice and 3 whiting

Catch and Release:: mostly.. only 2 flatties kept for consumption..

Report:myself and other lad (he's a freshwater fisher, fishes for trout, told him ages ago i'd take him out when the trout season is closed) so arranged last week to fish tonight as tide was perfect for it.. ended up the weather was too... told him to bring a long spinning rod and get a few 2oz leads.. on his firs cast he had a double shot of flounder.. and continued catching for the next few casts..
i think i converted him to sea fishing

fishingmidget got a nice flounder of 40cm..

got a nice 35cm flattie myself on the last cast...
