People:meself, an a mate popped down

Duration:3hrs , 8pm -11pm

Tide:incoming

Weather:brezzi but very clear, nice

Bait:sand eel an mack

Results: 2 small pollock,one tiny! whiting + one weird lookin spikey yoke!

Catch and Release:: Yes



Report: disapointed with the catch but was nice night to be out ther. went off the lighthouse at harbour.. caught a horrible lookin spikey thing with eyes on top of its head, huge mouth, bout 5 inches long, brown on top, silver underneath?? spikes all over the place, wat was it lads? is it just me or is howth harbour/piers fishing brutal at the mo?? any decent congers down ther? plenty of rocks for them anyway...

spiney yoke is a bullhead, very common in howth.
