greystones- s. beach near stream

#1 Post by m.b3 »

fished here for a few hours today. ebbing tide down to low- not always a great time to fish it. fishing was poor to say the least! half a dozen undersize fish at close range with nothing out further. took one nice flounder of 36cm and an insize dab casting 3 hook clipped on 3oz flat lead and allowing in to drift. tried same again- nowt! 2x 20+cm coalies afterwards. friend had a 27cm dab. used crab, lug, wraps, maddies, whites and mackeral. very poor. one red cod as light faded. nice day n good craic- just aswell!! :D
