Netting of the Motorway Foreshore at Whitehouse Park

There is a guy who has a net ofat low water at Whitehouse foreshore, he checks it at most low tides it shouldnt be there and having rang the FCB a month ago and a least 6 times since giving them details etc it is still there it is takin g every fish in that area Mullet Seatrout Salmon has anyone else Seen it its just off the start of the cycle path at Hazelbank.

yes i was talking to him at the lough wouldnt say what he was doing.

yea, i also talked to him one day whilst digging and he had a mullet of 4-5lbs in a black binl iner!!! this guy should be stopped!! :evil:

someone should go out at low tide to find the net and take it away he get a shock if he can find it :o

No use phoning FCB been there done that the only way to get results is to email them with the details also tell them about this web site and the members who are complaining about their lack of response ???? email address below fiona@fcbni.org

If was a tall lanky bloke with a strang accent (dutch i think ) he works for the enviromental heratige ,they've been doing fish surveys on estuary areas all summer . they us a variety of nets and traps for various fish species .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
