you may be right there drew i know 100% that its a lug beach because the pier is at its best with lug its on my list me and bigliam have been eying it up for quite some time. if you can cast over 100 yards then you should be fine and with a multiplier it should be a gift i know i can get 125-150 yards with my surfmaster 60 fixed spool on a very good cast but i am going back to the multiplier very soon. Conor shh keep this quite but try the beach at the yellow house close to it the toilet car park and you might be surprised what you get :wink:

i've always found that all my fish have been caught close in or at my feet and doggies at distance....and merv is 100% right it is a lug beach but i've also had good catches with straight mac too for the coalies in close....distance is not always the answer just drop it at your feet
