I just don't get carp fishing. At all. I'd sooner pack up the gear and take up tennis!

Is anyone surprised by the fishing industries response :?:
When all the fish are gone they will say it was global warming and pollution and put in claims for loss of earnings.
All fishermen are liars except you and me and to tell you the truth, I'm not so sure about you!

"We have probably got the most beaureaucratic and heavily managed fisheries in Europe," he said. "We really have got everything in place for a sustainable management system."

yeh your right, coarse fishing numbers are starting to decline.
and its not just a coincidence its around the same time as Ireland receives a lot of foreign cultures.
we fish a lot of places like the canals. the foreign people (not all obviously) they clean the canals/lakes/rivers out and they take all the fish they catch.
even the small roach goes home for supper. disgraceful
