Best knot for really fine braid....
As it says above folks, what is the best knot for tying really fine 20lb braid, its more like fine thread than anything else. Its a relatively cheap one I bought off ebay, Fins PRT braid I think its called. If its rubbish, no worries, it was cheap. I have tried one or two but on testing knot strength with a scales, I cant get over 10lb pressure before snapping at the knot.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial

I find that if you tie a bimini twist in the braid, and then use the double line created to tie an 8 turn uni-knot on the leader, and tie a 4 turn uni knot with the leader on the double line.
once you snug everything up tight you can trim them very closely.
I use this knot with 20lb fireline, and 50 lb leader for fishing and the mono will always break first....
