Not a great spot Keith. You may try the far side of the small pier, but very snaggy ground.

sort of a local my self kk, balbriggan, just down the road. my self and one of the lads had walk around the cliffs at low water on sunday some nice spots alright but some of the roughest ground i,v ever seen. There's a spot just after the martello tower looks like a small bay, rough either side of it but looks clean in the middle. Where abouts were you fishin kk? i'v only ever tried the pier and got a few dogs.

Theres a cave the other side of the cliffs towars the rush side, its just like a grass verge sticking out in to the bay with rocks at the end of it-vant really miss it. theres a huge kelp bed 40 yards out but clean ground after that, got a few nice codling down there last year but it was after x-mas. when did ya fish loughshinny??

it would have been about this time last year kk, havent fished it this year yet. hopfully if the weather improves next week might take a spin up. looks a promising spot alright any size in the codling? Plenty of small ones down here in balbriggan all around 3/4lb to 1lb and millions upon millions of small whiting. its actually quit strange because the whiting have only appeared this year they were never around this neck of the woods before.

i fish the rocks beside my house in hampton cove, its just on the skerries road. I only ever fish it when i'm bored or coundn't be arsed travelling any where else. too many small whiting down there they drive ya up the wall. ya get the odd codling here and there about the same size you get in loughshinny.
