if you dont know ramore pretty well, avoid it at dark, care is needed, it is needed at blue pool to as swell can be big sometimes out of nowhere and the rocks on both become very slippy.
they both produce conger, but for conger in daylight ramore is a better bet, i may be wrong in saying this but the best conger time of the year on both is probably now past but a few should still be knocking around.
i remember a few years back a certain forum member who gets quite a few conger took 3 inside a couple of hours on the blue pool one night, all well into double figures, i think the biggest was in the mid twenties, the smallest mid teens.
just be careful though as sometimes a few drunks can hang around the blue poll area after dark around the weekends
always check the weather and sea state first before trying them, if it is dodgy, its best to try your chances inside portrush harbour for them where they have been taken to over thirty pounds in recent years

ramore head is def worth a try at the minute ,the mild october should still see the fish feeding ,just make sure its a calm day ,fish from the head looking towards the skerries islands theres a deep area right under your feet here just lob your baits out and wait .
Blue pool good as phil says some big fish ,my personal best from the shore came from here at 28 1/2lb also had a 24lb and 14lb in same session

If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
