People:me and rolly

Duration:12.30-6ish

Tide:high to start then on the way out

Weather:started off S and SE then died

Bait:defrosted frozen sand eel and mack

Rigs:1 hook clipped down, pulley and paternoster

Results:1 mack

Catch and Release:: No

Report:had intended to fish the incoming tide on friday into darkness and try for a huss and after considerable battles against the wind that night (lost rigs etc.) and alcohol consumption saturday, got out sunday lunchtime

wrong conditions not withstanding it was a lovely day - hard to cast again against the wind but got it out there

tried in close on a paternoster but without the grip release leads - the gear was lost so stopped trying that

the mack was caught on sandeel after about 2.5hrs hit it seconds after the cast hit the water - by rolly

no other bites at all - not even the crabs were too interested

good craic anyway - funnyiest part was eejit here commenting to rolly how this was a great cast.....as all my line stayed going off the reel

didnt realise how much i had lost friday night!!! chopped it 3 times!!!

met fishingmidget and co - they only lasted about an hour down there before heading off

a blank for me but a nice day to be out in the sea air

:D
