I sent my SLOSH30 to Daiwa Thursday 5th October, for a small repair job on the free spool machanism.
The reel arrived back 12th October, repaired and serviced FREE OF CHARGE.
I was amazed at the quick turn around and delighted by this level of customer service.
As we are all too quick to condemn the bad/problem manufacturers & tackle dealers, I think its only fair that I praise the ones that do look after their customers.
Thanks, Daiwa, Can't recommend them highly enough.
Thanks Daiwa!!

Mustad
On a similar positive note. I have a Mustad surf rucksack which i think is the bees knees, it does for everything and I'd be lost without it. after a couple of months use however the zips started to pack up. As I bought it in Scotland i didn't think it would be worth the hassle to call up the shop and complain and then have to ship them the bag and all that.
so I mailed Mustad direct. after a couple of emails I received a brand spanking rucksack free of charge shipped from UK and didn't even have to send back the old one.
They were very polite and seemed to be concernd that I should continue using there products which of course I will seeing as how there customer service was top notch.
Fair play to them. in this rip off republic it's really nice to see a manufacturer go the bit extra to please a customer.
Cheers
