People: me and jc

Duration: 18.00-21.00

Tide: high then outgoing

Weather:dry and windy

Bait:mackeral and pout

Rigs: 2 hook flapper and conger rig

Results: 10 pout and 1 conger

Catch and Release:: everything exept a couple of pout kept for bait



Report: went down to to harbour for a couple of hours on a mission to catch a conger.. used mackeral strips to catch a few pout for bait. put one about a pound weight on the conger rig. was in the water bout half an hour and got a run but the conger done a houdini and got away with the bait. seemed like a good fish!! put a smaller pout on and got a run after about 20 mins and jc brought in an eel bout 4lb. good craic and no blankety blank. seems like there are some big conger there. will def be back lookin for the big one!!!
