cheap mackeral in tescos!

arite lads. just thought id tell yous all that tesco are selling fresh whole mackeral at 80p each. handy if your in the same boat as me were the pre caught winter frezzer stock has nearly gone already. had a drawer full of them but wud usually take out 4 per trip which has made them disappear.. good point about buying fresh ones is that it stays on the hook far better. dont know if its better than frozen for catch rates mind you

i've bought mackeral from tesco twice this year and found the quality shocking both times (also seen it in other branchs and it was just as bad) so i get it from fish market in town :x

tescos mackeral mite be cheep but its not very fresh, even the congers dont want it its that bad, i now buy my mackeral from asda i havent had a prob
lem with theirs yet and its just as cheep as tescos.

iv had it out of tesco a couple of times and its been fresh enough.. catch fish on it no probs!! any bad stuff and il go to asda. quality
