Daiwa pairs competition

Anybody know how the fishing went in the Daiwa pairs last week?

my first post so here goes.
alan smith and son darren won.colin carey and partner second.andy steele and s.dewhurst third.
ventry fished ok,cappaclough the same.
brandon was the pits.
ballinranig ok again bealbawn poor.
nev charlesworth won the specimens with five.
a few good fish out in the specimens 10lb pollack,91/2 bass,21lb conger and some good rays.
the guiness went down a treat and a good time was had by all,roll on next year.

Ahhh....I was wondering what tourney that was. I ran into a few of you guys(who were fishing for Mackeral to use as bait)at the Dingle jetty while I was fishing as well as in the pub later that night. I can't remember the name of it, but it had the day's tournament results in the hallway, near the toilets.

Anybody familiar in these pictures? That was from Ventry.

yeah ventry, looks its usual dirty self :D proximity to the caravans i guess. i have always found the rocks on the eastern side much better than the strand itself.
