Dun Laoghaire, East Pier, Help

#1 Post by AnglingDan »

Hey Lads,

Heading up to Dublin this week and planning on fishing two nights, one on my usual mark Colemore and possibly Dun Laoghaire, East Pier. After reading the shore marks info on it, it looks like it might be worth some time. I'm goona be targeting Conger as per usual. Just wondering if anyone has some info on tactics ie, hole in the wall, end of the pier, halfway down, ect.

Any info on other marks that has produced anything lately would be welcome.

thanks

Bandstand? do you mean the gazebo? Is that on the east pier? I have walked the other pier with my son and remember seeing a gazebo. Is that fishing the breakwater for the conger or facing in and dropping bait down the pier wall? You have mentioned that before. Will I get there and say to myself oh thats the bandstand? I don't mean to sound daft or ungrateful, its just its a 4 hour trek.
