Steve's snoods are rolled from the hair of his back...sorry head, just like old horse hair lines. Rumour has it that they are 4 foot in length :shock:

Access is no problem ,theres a bridge under the railway line just at the first stream were all the cars are parked ,theres also a carpark beside the houses in case theres a good surf running so you've not far to walk ,i should have a few more photos of the area ,i'll see if i can stick up another one .

jd, you will see from rn's pick, the entrance is just above the stream running across the beach, its a case of turning in right at the bottom once you have gone downhill on the main coleraine to benone road.

here another shot from further back so you can see were some of the submerged boulders are ,theres some nice holes around these things which are bound to hold fish .

lads i heard that this spot will throw up bass in a surf or nothing?! i am not trying to throw a spanner in the works just curious to know what yee think? any replies welcome thanks.

them sound like scare tactics to me... i'm sure there is a back-up plan ... i know i have one....

there are decent flounder on it too, just a case of going down the beach a bit, away from the regularly fished area at the entrance and first 300yards to the left..
