Just wondering folks, if money was no object what would be your favourite rod for doing most of your shore fishing with.
The rod must be able to fish from the shore and also over mixed to rough ground on some occasions?
I'm looking at the new Zziplex XTI but I've heard it is mostly a rough ground rod? Have any of you heard this?
I know there is not one rod for all types of shore fishing, but what would you class as close in your opinion?
Thanks
Steve

The standard and plus versions are available as 13 or 14ft, the tournament guys seem to have taken a shine to the 14ft 6onz rod for 150g casting.
As a fishing rod, I am not too sure how they would fare with pin whiting or flatty bites at range but imagine they are well overgunned for anything other than mixed/rough ground work.

Even a bad days fishing is better than working.

why not go for something of a mixed ground rod thatwill cover most aspects...greys supro, i have one and have used it on ramore head, trailed congers in from range, over the ledge, through the crap, you name it, also used it for whiting bashing at the north meet on blue pool last year and has recently beem used on carnlough for dogs and flats.
the awt 13 would also be a good option....if you can find one!!
conoflex nemesis
for a lot of rough ground work you dont want a rod that is too pokey...
