we actully caught it beside the roadstone quarry on arklow south beach

species. bass,pollock,conger,withing,blue whiting,dogs,3b rockling,cod,coaley,dab,wrasse,SMOOTHIE,flounder,plaice,tope,red gurnard,blue shark,mackrel,fresh water eel,pouting,and a nice 6lb lobster,scad,huss,corkswin wrasse.

I stopped fishing Barrystown (Bannow) when I started catching mutant flounder. They had large whitish blotchy growths. Yuk. Didn't have the stomach to keep fishing for them, regardless of whether I was going to eat them.
