bought one of these a week ago but havnt had a chance to fish with it yet. have done a good deal of casting with it.with a 5 ounce weight, 20lb daiwa tournament line and an imax 5 stroke 6 i was managing about 160-170yards so fairly pleased with it.alot nicer reel to cast with than the origional sl30. i feel as if i'm in alot more control during the cast but thats probably just in my head. also like the handle alot more. feels more comfortable on the retrieve.

oh ya and its shiney!!

i've got the sl20hv and i thinks a beaut of a reel i can cast further with it that my mags, its just the same as the 30hv just smaller spool...well worth £70.00

ya there a sweet reel alrith but i fished with it today and thought it didnt seem to have the same cranking power as the origional. maby its just me??
