Rosbeg In Donegal

Is it worth fishing this time of year.

I have fished this stetch extensively at the spring and summer time with mixed results. great spot at the end of tramore beach (mouth of the estuary) for sea trout and mack when they are in.
but i have never fished it in september or october for that matter.

I have caught cockoo and ballan wrasse, pollack, gunard from the rocks beyond rosbeg harbour.
the cockoo was on shrimp caught from the beach in the rock pools.

The sea trout were caught using spinners.

I know it limited knowledge but i hope it helps. my uncle fishes up there this time of year and i will try and find out from him what the craic is.

alright pookie

was talking to my uncle last night. unfortunately he has never really fished up there this time of year. but he said its worth ago. he was catching 30lb tope up there during the summer.
