Yeah im getting mixed reports too. Like most weather reports I dont think they really know whats going to happen..! Now it looks like being bad up until Late Thursday and then calming down.

Very unsettled and very wet weather is expected initially, but an improvement is indicated for the Weekend. Very wet in most places Wednesday night, with further heavy falls of rain expected. Winds fresh and gusty southerly. But clearer more showery weather is likely over parts of the West and Northwest. The trend for Thursday, Thursday night and first thing Friday, is for more heavy rain at times, in all parts of the Country. Some flooding is likely in places too. It may well get stormy on Thursday night, with some severe winds possible, but it will be short lived, as present indications for much of Friday and the Weekend, is for bright weather, with sunny spells and scattered heavy showers. Some of the showers may be thundery, but it will be warm and rather humid with fresh southeasterly winds. Temperatures will be above normal - in the high teens, touching 20 C.

Yeah- looks like the worst of it will be over by Lunchtime Friday. I'd guess south/southeast, 20 degrees, showers afterwards.

The problem I have is that the mark we fish has a small river which runs into it. Too much cloudy rain water can ruin the fishing at it.
Plus the sea can still be stirred up for a few days after it settles.
Its a bit of a gamble but I reckon we will still go down.
