help with species

Hi
i hope someone can help me i was fishing in greystones off the beach with inlaw and he caught this fish that looked sort of like a catfish any one have any ideas it was caught on ragworm and it was brown with a light underbelly it had body like an eel but seemed to have barbel like tenticles at mouth

sounds like a rockling depending . check out galleries for photos .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
