Greystones North Beach - 12/09

#1 Post by alby »

People: Myself, Stan & Darren

Duration:5 Hours

Tide:From Low upwards

Weather:Strong Southerly (cosy in beach buddy)

Bait:Fresh Crab & King Rag

Rigs:Pulley Pennels & Clipped Down pats

Results:2 Codling

Catch and Release:: No

Report:Fished from 8 - 12 last night, Had most bites around low water and first few hours of the flood, lost a good fish very close in, the two I caught were about 2lbs. Stan & Dar will be having cod & chips for dinner today :P , I think there the first fish i've kept this year. Not the numbers of codling inshore yet like there was in the last couple of years during autumn, hopefully this will improve in the next few weeks.
