O.K. So if nobody wants to give me any real info about Tope from the shore I'm gonna make you all jealous by telling you that I caught seven Cat Sharks in under an hour in Bantry Bay last week!

Yeah and I was using fish for bait! (seriously now) Perhaps I should've been using a Sea Mouse, maybe I would've caught more! Any other Cat Shark catchers?

Nice one jd, did you have to google it? There is a web site http://www.sharktrust.org where they are trying to encourage people to collect and ientify mermaid's purses so that they can get an idea of the various breeding grounds of Skate and Ray. It's pretty good, especially if you want to take your kids bait digging with you, it gets them interested in the enviroment and fishing aswell.

I think that a Cat Shark is a much posher name for a dogfish, suddenly my life has improved somewhat; "did you catch anything last night?" "Nah, just doggies." The answer sounds better if you say "Not much, but I had a couple of Cat Sharks though!" You see lads, no longer is Bantry Bay full of dogs, it's now positively Purring with Pussy!

ROFLMAO
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
