sheepland area north of ardglass 09 09 06

People:just me

Duration:11am-5pm

Tide:1hr up then all the way down

Weather:sunny light breeze

Bait:rag sandeel and hokais

Rigs:clipped pennel,hokais and float rig

Results:10 mackerel 8 pollack 1 wrasse and 2 dogs

Catch and Release:: all but 6 mackerel were returned


Report:cracking days fishing a bit slow to start but about an hour after hihg water the fish came on the feed both dogs biggest about 3.5lbs actually gave me a good scrap one of em took me into the rocka had a job getting him out clearly nobody told that one dogfish dont fight had the wrasse and a pollock on the big rod.all the macks came on hokais and 2 pollack tok them also the rest of the pollack the biggest going 4.5lbs came to float fished sandeel.this is without doubt the best session ive had in a long time

nope hairy its nowhere near the pier and im sorry but i cant reveal the exact location but i can say that if you are near st patricks well you could have a day like that
