killiney can produce fish bo, problem is that the place is packed at this time of year. early in the morning and late in the evening might see you get some peace. in the autumn it will start to produce hoards of whiting with the odd respectable one, the odd codling and a few coalies. flounders and dabs also likely. in summer you will catch doggies, plaice, flounder, dab with chance of a bass. mackeral will show too. wrasse and codling will show from rough ground with codling and coalies from here in winter. don't kid yourself fishing with 15lb. mainline into the rocky ground. use 25lb. + mainline and one hook. can fish ok sometimes bo. from the parking spot up too the left is mixed ground with the dart station up to the right being clean ground. corbawn lane is a spot up nearer to shankill and might be worth a shot with possible less people here in summer, have no experience of fishing here though. don't get disheartened bo, keep at it and you will eventually run into the fish.
