People: Shannon town angler

Tide:

Weather: Strong SW

Bait:fish

Rigs:paternoster

Results:

Catch and Release:: Yes

Report: Roaming competition. I fished at a place with 4 other anglers and I had a 1.1kg ray and another fella had a 0.7kg ray. I also had a mack and an undersized pollack. Two other locations were fished one lot of anglers blanked and the other lot had a few dogs and straps and they scouped the prizes. Winner had 4 fish. Fishing was poor again but at least I didn't blank like the last other 3 comps I've fished this year. I don't think theres been a decent comp this year and talking to the fanore lads the international week on north clare rocks was fairly poor.
