To get to bunaninver, take a left at Teach Jacks take a right at the lake follow the road for about half a mile then take the small road on the left down to the harbour there is a small pier fish of this on a rising tide, most of the fish are close in.The locals tell me there are flats to the left of the boats as it is very sandy have not tried yet as I have not had rag or lug.
If you take a letf at the lake and follow the road to the very end drive up the small hill you will see tracks, park there and fish the flat rocks. There is weed for about 15 metres then clean sand and a reef about 80 to 100 metres away a short cast will get you on to the sand I have had plaice to 2lbs here and dogs.Spinning with feathers or lures can procuce some excellent pollack to abou7lbs,deep spun sand eels work well here as does sandeel fished on a pulley.Float fishing produces good wrasse close in.
Hope thats some help.
