Duration:7.00 till 10.00

Tide:rising

Weather:clam

Bait:rag and lug

Rigs:flappers

Results:20 pouting 2 coalies 4 poor cod, 1 gobey and 2 codling

Report:i had 16 pouting 2 poor cod and a codling all on lug and rag fished close to the breakwater inside the harbour 3 of the pouting where 30cms long and went to 1.5lb which is a crackin pout for the harbour the codling was around the 1lb mark...Mark had 4 pouting 2 poor cod 2 coalies a codling and a gobey which all fell to lug and rag...another good nites fishin :D :D

Jonny where you fishing below the castle walls...if yes what type of grund to you find here and what distance where ya finding the fish?

no i was fishin inside the harbour towards the breakwater up at the watch tower...but the ground behind the castle is very rough but does throw up some good fish ie: cod, conger,pollock, wrasse and gaint 3 beard rockling
