People:myself

Duration:9am-1:30pm

Tide:filling

Weather:sunny,breezy from the north

Bait:bread

Rigs:float

Results:one mullet

Report:it was windy which made it difficult to spot the mullet but i could see a few taking bread of the surface.i had a good few bites on floating and sinking bread through out the day and managed to get a nice mullet of 3lb even though it didn`t bite,it just swam off and i noticed the float moving a bit faster than the current so i tightened the line and lifted into it.was a bit surprised to realise there was a fish on  which put up a great fight in the strong current :D
cant wait to get down after them again :)

hi davy
I made it down on sat morning for 2 hours on the flood.
Plenty of them taking the free offerings of bread but none took the bit that was on a hook!
good to see yo are still catching.
I tried mashing up some bread crumb,a tin of catfood and some sweetcorn and balling it in but it didn't seem to hold them in the area.
deffinitely taking the fly rod next time and the coarse fishing fake bread.
best wishes
cky :D
