Fished there last Saturday, south beach.Alot of weed around coming up to high tide :( ,as soon as the tide turned managed 1 nice plaice, some small codling around the 1lb mark,1 Mackerel and the usual amount of Dogfish, returned everything except the Mack, had him for me breakfast
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at the office!

Those Present: Me and a brother and the divine forces of nature
Duration:7hrs
Weather:Rain then sun, then more rain and sun...so on & on
Bait:Ragworm & frozen sand eel
Rigs:bomber/3 hook with lots of pink beads on the bottom hook to attract nice flatties.
Results: 6 fishes between us, two really good sized plaice (my mam said they were nice too). 2 doggies, 1 poor cod and a little plaice.
Overall not a great fishing day, very few bites. Haven't fished Greystones in over a decade, the jury is still out on going back.
