Fixed Spool Reel
I'm just looking some advice on a decent, relatively cheap, fixed spool reel that i can buy next. I'm still using my old one that came with my old redwolf beachcaster [all for £55], it's not very good in all honesty now, i even still have the same mono on it that it came with
I'm just fed up with it, need something half decent. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Hi, I use a Mitchell mc7000 i got from flying tackle in portrush and it is a great reel, and under £30 too.
Also glasgow angling centre are doing a Ron Thompson Utilizer for only £15. veals do the same reel for £30. I believe its not a bad reel and have just ordered 1 for myself. hate spending big money for something that i have to treat like gold dust, rather not worry if it gets scratched etc.
bought a new spinning reel 2 weeks ago and dropped it on the harbour wall the first time i took it out....

REEL
i bought a new Ron Thompson today out of Bradels. The fella said it was wee cracker and more less steered me away from the shakespeer. cost me the guts of 30 quid. i will give it a go tomorrow morning. i went for the robustness of it as well. there is a cracker new leeda reel i would recomend in there for £20
