Not so much a report just a heads up. Headed down here for a cast or two and do some work, set up a good distance from the entrance and just left the bike behind me in the rocks. When the time came to to leave found my bike had been taken ( thats my transport and fishing out the window for a while now) During the summer, on two seperate occasions I returned to my bike to find people taking a hacksaw to the chain.
I know its fished fairly regularly by people here so a small warniong, its best to be careful with valubals etc left in a car.

Also saw a good few mackerel caught along with a doggie.

Good tip for payback on dirt bags stealing your bike ,swap the brake cables around so that the front brake is the left hand instead of the right ,some one that doesn't know will take of on the bike first time they grab for the back brake ,its over the bars  works a treat !!
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

An excellent suggestion. Would be too good for them if they left their teeth stuck in the tarmac.

Have you reported it to the law?

Have done, not that it will do any good but for a 2min phonecall might aswell. Know a fair few people in the area who are on the lookout too so because its not a huge place someone may see it. The fact that I had taken the bike onto the beach(40 min walk up) and hid it just behind where I stayed drunk me off that they were cheeky enough to take it with me close enough by.
Whinge over

Sorry to hear about your bike Col - Just a thought here - check your house insurance policy - you may be covered - it's worth a call to the insurance people anyway !
