Blackhead Lighthouse

#1 Post by round_ourway »

Persons: Me & Bro

Date:12/08/06

Bait: Feathers, lures and Spinners

Results: Mackie And few Coalies

Duration: 1200 - 1330

Tide: HT 1350

Only ever fished here about ten years ago. very impressed with the amount of fish in such a short space of time. Starting out using mack feathers and got a few bites. after the tenth cast i caught a reasonable size coalie (1.1/2lb) and a couple of mackeral for an hour. bro was feeling rough as he only got in when i called round for him to go fishing around 11am. so all in all we stayed for about an hour and a half and done pretty well.

Most dissapointing part of the day was using the crap feathers that were bought of the tinternet and fell apart after getting snagged on the weeds twice, two the hooks had actually broken off. lol
