Cushendun Co Antrim 14th August

#1 Post by glengormley-gavin »

People:Me

Duration:15.30 - 17.30

Tide: HT 14.45

Weather: Moderate NW squally showers

Bait: None

Rigs: C Bar, firetails and other lures

Results: Nowt.....

Report:

I gave the mouth of the river and the rocks behind the apartments a blast with the lures hoping for some pollack. No luck however on this session.

Various lures were fished at different depths and with different retrieval techniques, none of which worked today :?

I also spun along the beach on the walk back to the caravan in the vain hope that the mackeral might have still been about - Not so.

There were another couple of guys on the beach, one of which landed a flounder while I was chatting to him......

Until next time......
