Cracking wicklow Bass session...!!

#1 Post by Eoghan »

Visited my wicklow mark again today.
Results - 5 Bass. All returned alive and got 2 pics with my phone of two of them. I guess approx 3-4Ib fish in the space of 20 mins.
Im not going to give the name of the mark for obvious reasons. Well worth exploring marks and trying them at all tides. I think I have finally cracked when the fish are at this mark. Small window of opportunity but worth if it you catch it right.

All fish fell to a kilty lure.
Where have all the schoolies gone..?? 8)

Will start bringing a propper camera in future..!!!

Cheers Col...! I sent you a PM a while ago regarding my Wicklow marks. Make sure you get to one or two of those marks in Sept/October as they are fishing well. The pic I posted a few weeks ago with my brother in law and a 4Ib on a plug was also taken from this mark. I'll keep ye posted on how they are fishing throughout the next few months.

good stuff, few and far between those days when everything goes rite but very satisfiying when you do your homework and it pays off. i would urge you to keep this mark to yourself for obvious reasons.
i have being trying to crack malahide estuary myself over the last few months, i am certian that if i can find the right combination of tide, weather, bait this area can produce......any ideas?
