Tide: full at 7.20

Weather: Blowing a North Westerly

Bait: Spinning

Rigs:

Results:1 3lbs cod 3 pollock 10 macs


Report: Fisehed for an hour near MineHead, the place was stuffed with macs, tried to avoid them. we had the cod thought it was a big pollock. Am I the only that finds this unusual

cod around mine head

Hi

Not that unusual, have seen a 10 lb cod taken from just offshore not a million miles from mine head. You often pick them up over rough ground during the summer - what colouration did it have?

I caught a nice orange coloured codling from Greystones on a spinner last week!
