hi live in the rosslare area,i would like to try mackeral fishing,does anybody know any good local spots.i have heard the beach west of carnsore point is good any ideas.
If so, yes, a lot of mackeral can be taken off here. Pick a nice calm warm evening, and fish around high tide with feathers, and you should pick up plenty. Try fishing with a light rod and a spinner too, mackeral give a great fight on light gear!
