Hi,
I work down on Sir John Rogersons Quay and over the last couple of weeks I have seen fish jumping out of the water, sometimes in pairs.
Can anyone tell me what those fish are please?

Most likely Mullet though I havent often seen them clearing the water.
The Liffey is full of them, you see them just cruising around in big shoals & flashing. You sometimes see people fishing for them outside the corporation offices on the quays + up around Heuston station.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him.

Used to work near Ringsend myself & had many thoughts about doing the same!!!!
I'm sure it would work if you prebaited each day for a while to get their confidence up.
There are lots of nice Perch in the grand canal just near grand canal dock train station - noticed them on my last day working in my previous job so never got to fish for them.
Would be a good spot to try a small spinner at lunchtime - there were hundreds of them!
