People:5

Duration:3pm-1130pm

Tide:high at 3

Weather:rain windy sunny

Bait:rag crab sandeel mussel

Rigs:all sorts

Results:10codling11dogs1wrasse2flounders between the 5 of us

Report:we fished at the small stream at the end of the driving range there was lots of weed in the water making it almost imposable to fish every time we casted out and put the rod on the stand the rod would bend right over and your trace would end up half a mile down the beach with a ton of weed on it one of the lads rod got pulled from the stand into the sea he didn't notice for about 10 mins one of the lads swam out for it and got it back lucky most of the fish were caught on sandell at low water when the tide wasn't running so strong and the grip weight actually hold the bottom

Any of the codling any size.

I used to fish that beach a lot and the rule used to be not to go past the stream until 3 hours after full and to move off once the tide got half way up.
