Ballycastle beach 30/07/06

People:Glengormley Gavin, Topbox and Me

Duration:7.30pm to 1 am

Tide:HT approx. 11pm

Weather:some heavy rain showers, wind gathering strength as evening went on

Bait:Rag, sandeel, mackerel

Rigs:2 hook clip downs, pulleys, flapppers

Results:Flounders, Plaice and Dogs


Report:Nice evening on the beach, fishing was steady if not spectacular. The most spectacular thing was the monumental birdie i got on my sportsmag when the shockleader knot rattled a ring and broke :shock: :shock: :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: .

Oh well, put a smile on everyones face 8)

Believe me folks - he had to get planning permission from Moyle Council to clear up that Bird's Nest :D :shock: :shock:

Fishing was poor all the same....
