making a start to shark/tope fishing

hi guys

we are just thinking of making a start to tope and shark fishing and need a bit of help to get started.

1.for rubby dubby should i just mix all the guts and crap of mackerel with bran and oil?where can i get enough bran?

2.Is a simple whole mackerel with a tope trace and 50lb rod suitable?

3.What species are a possibility up north?i know of the tope are there any porbeagle of blue shark?

4.Our boat is in Bangor Marina and we can travel a fair distance down to around newcastle or portrush.could anyone recommend any good areas?
