Hi all,

How is the catching of shrimp & Prawn done from a boat ??

I've bought a little small crab/prawn trap - the holes are about right for that but too big for shrimp and too samll for lobster (I guess), only 12 odd euro from Baumans. Haven't used it yet.....

For shrimp, you can make your own traps with plastic bottles - cut the top end off and turn upside down so that the inverted top points back into the bottle and secure with string through holes in each 'half'. Cut holes to let water out. Bait with old fish. Use several bottles in a string. Note: this is theoretical knowledge only on my part.....
