Bait holder ?

Just a quick should the bait holder(relay clip) be free to move on the line or should it be fixed to one spot?

There should be a small amount of movement allowed, to allow for snood changes or a hook change. You can use a bead and crimp for a stop. I generally allow about 2 inches of movement in my rigs.
